Budget Information: The firm has allocated
$300,000.00 for this project. The majority costs for this project
will be internal labor and purchase of a new tool.

Project Objectives: Improve code
efficiency in order to reduce the number of large computers the
company needs. The improvised codes will help to decrease costs for
supercomputer and mainframe computing power and at the same time
improve performance.
Approach:

Review existing codes and determine
what are the flaws.
q
Research on tools that code programs
for efficiency.
q
Determine which is the best tool to be
used in terms of the cost, time required
to learn the tool and other resources.
q
Provide training to programmers to
enhance their programming skills to code
more efficiently.
q
Improvise the existing code and
determine a way to measure the efficiency of
the new code.
